Site Description
Come on down to the Cowboy Capital of the World! Stephenville is located in the heart of Texas. We are a rural community with lots of cowboys and farmers. We have a thriving college, Tarleton State University, which brings over 17,000 students to Stephenville. Stephenville CRC is a family oriented congregation and we can’t wait to love on ya’ll, share some great food, and work with you serving others in our community.
SERVE Projects
Our worksites will be a combination of physical work and interpersonal mission opportunities. Most work sites will change daily, so you will be able to serve in several ways. There will be landscaping, painting, cooking, cleaning, and helping at a local food bank. We also have a local pregnancy care clinic, Choices, where we will be serving others.

Facilities
You will be staying at the church/school which are one building. Boys and girls will sleep and have access to restrooms on opposite ends of the building. It will be warm outside but do not worry – we have AC!! Showers will be offsite at the Tarleton State University.
Day Away
Our day away will be a trip to The Fort Worth Stockyards rodeo and cattle drive.
Cell Phone Policy
This site has not yet determined if students will be allowed to have their cell phones during the SERVE week. Adult leaders will be allowed to have their cell phones during the week.
Transportation
Registration fees do NOT include transportation to and from the sites. Each church group must provide vehicle(s) and adult driver(s) for the entire mission experience regardless of whether you fly or drive to the site. The vehicles you bring will be used to transport small groups to the work site each day, so 12-passenger vans, SUVs, or mini-vans are preferred. Cars do not facilitate the transportation of an entire small group in one vehicle, so please do not bring them. If you wish to bring a bus, please check with the Host Team to see if this is acceptable before you make arrangements. If your group is unable to provide van transportation, please have a youth leader call the ThereforeGo Ministries office to discuss options and additional potential charges.
Nearest Airport
Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) or Dallas Love Field Airport (DAL); both are 1.5 hours from Stephenville. Please DO NOT book airfare until you have received email confirmation from ThereforeGo Ministries that you have been placed at this site.
