Site Description
Fulton is a friendly and wholesome rural community located in northwestern Illinois, in Whiteside County, which sits on the banks of the beautiful and majestic Mississippi River. The city of Fulton has a population of 3,481 people and covers an area of 2.3 square miles. Fulton is known for its pride in its Dutch heritage and even has its own authentic working windmill. Thrive Ministries* will be serving as the host for the week. Together we will be spreading the love of Jesus not only in the Fulton community but also in the neighboring small communities around Fulton.
*Thrive Ministries is a partnership of Bethel CRC, First CRC & Morrison CRC.
We will be worshiping and sleeping at Bethel CRC. Bethel is an air conditioned facility. We will shower at our local Middle School directly across from the church.
You will get to enjoy a river cruise on the Mighty Mississippi, then we will enjoy a picnic lunch and swimming at an aquatic center in the afternoon. Our evening will be spent at a local park for a cookout and games.

Registration fees do NOT include transportation to and from the sites. Each church group must provide vehicle(s) and adult driver(s) for the entire mission experience regardless of whether you fly or drive to the site. The vehicles you bring will be used to transport small groups to the work site each day, so 12-passenger vans or mini-vans are preferred. Cars do not facilitate the transportation of an entire small group in one vehicle, so please do not bring them. If you wish to bring a bus, please check with the Host Team to see if this is acceptable before you make arrangements. If your group is unable to provide van transportation, please have a youth leader call the ThereforeGo Ministries office to discuss options and additional charges.
