Site Description
The island of St. Thomas is only 32 square miles, but its known worldwide for its beautiful beaches, excellent snorkeling, and unique culture. Located in the Caribbean, St. Thomas is the gateway to America’s Paradise. As a US Territory, there is no passport required to travel to St. Thomas. Your host for this SERVE week, St Thomas Reformed Church (STRC), is located in the heart of downtown Charlotte Amalie. “Diversity” is the word people most often use to describe the St Thomas Reformed Church. For over 350 years, people from many different walks of life, at many different points along the journey of faith, have made this church their spiritual home. We are excited to share our home with you.
Participants will eat and sleep at the Retreat Center a ministry of St Thomas Reformed Church. The Retreat Center is located directly across the, very narrow, street from the church.
The Retreat Center is air-conditioned and includes a full kitchen, dining room, living room (with 2 queen sofa beds), two dorm style rooms with 8 beds each, and 4 full bathrooms.
Participants will enjoy a day at one of the most prestigious beaches in the USVI territory.
