Save Your Spots!

Use the form below to save your spots (beginning November 1, 2022). Place a $50 USD deposit per participant to save spots at a particular SERVE site. You’ll just need the number of youth and adult leader spots for your group. Approximately 1-3 weeks after you submit this form, you’ll receive a site confirmation letter by email confirming which site your group has been placed at and providing you the access code that your group will use to complete your paperwork in Step 2.

Step 2:
Complete Your Online Paperwork

After you place your deposit and receive your site confirmation letter with your access code, you can then complete your online paperwork for each participant individually. You must complete your paperwork by April 1, 2023. All paperwork completed after April 1, 2023, will be charged a $50 late fee.

Payment Due

All payments for SERVE must be in USD and completed in full by May 1, 2023. If you need to know the balance due or have any other payment questions, please call the office at (616) 241-5616.

If not paying online through the registration link in your email, call the ThereforeGo Ministries office to pay via credit card or send a check in USD to 1333 Alger St SE Grand Rapids, MI 49507.

SERVE 2023 – Step One: Save Your Spots

When placing a Deposit as part of a group, only fill out ONE form for the ENTIRE group.

You will receive a Site Confirmation email within two-three weeks to the email provided below. Placing a deposit does NOT guarantee your spots at your first choice. Do not make travel arrangements until you have received your Site Confirmation email.

    If you do not put a Second or Third Site Choice and your First Site Choice is full, you will lose your spot in line for placement.

    Your group MUST send one adult for every five students attending from your church.

    You must send AT LEAST one adult of each gender if students of each gender are attending.

    Adult Leader Requirements:

    All adults are small group leaders, worksite overseers and must be safety conscious. They will be responsible for general crowd control and spiritual coaching throughout the week. They are also responsible for driving their small group to and from worksites throughout the week.

    One adult (21 years of age or older) is required for every 5 youth (20 years of age and under). At least one adult of each gender if students of each gender are attending.

    All Adult Leaders (21 and older) are required to complete and submit a current background check to the ThereforeGo Ministries office. To be considered current for the 2023 SERVE season, the check must be completed after June 15, 2020. A pastor or church council leader must sign each Adult Leader’s Liability Waiver form indicating that they endorse this person as a leader and confirming that they have a current background check on file at the church.

    Online payment is through PayPal and will be processed in USD. You do NOT need a PayPal account to pay with your credit card through the service.

    THIS IS A NON-REFUNDABLE/NON-TRANSFERABLE DEPOSIT.

    In the event that you do not use all pre-registered spots, unused deposits may not be applied to any other balance due, nor will they be refunded. Your spot(s) will be guaranteed only until April 1st, 2023.
